I have an amazing friend who is watching her mom battle a sickness that is taking her life. Her blog below expresses her feelings about all that is going on and her love for a dear group of girls I am honored to call my best friends.

The experience goes like this... I walk in my front door and find the stack of mail on Jay Mama's piano. I weed through the junk and sometimes find a letter addressed to me. Oh- it's one of the joys of my life. I open the envelope to find one of two things - invitation to a wedding / pre-wedding event or a note of encouragement from my precious letter-writing friends. It never ceases, I am always amazed at my friend's words. These notes always come on the perfect day, perfect time and are exactly what I need to read. Wisdom, encouragement and sometimes humor exude out of these letters. I think I might need to publish them one day. I will read them a couple of times, sometimes get a little teary-eyed and then I put them in my purse as a constant reminder of how God has provided such sweet friends to take care of me. Is that lame or cheesy? I don't know, but I do know those letters get me through the day."
