"I am my Beloved's and His desire is for me"
Only God, in His fury, knows the whole story of me. He not only loves me, but He likes me. Not only does He like the good things about me, but He likes the things about me that I don't like about myself. I am seen by Jesus with a gaze of infinite tenderness. His desire for me (and you) can be best described as a furious longing. His love is NEVER, NEVER, NEVER based on performance, NEVER conditioned by our moods- the furious love of God knows no shadow of change. It is reliable. And always tender. He likes me.
Let this truth from the Lord sing over you today:
"Come, my beloved, my lovely one, come.
For see, the winter is past and the rains are over and gone...
Come then, my Beloved, my lovely one, come."
