I am an artist (sort of). I love to paint, but I have never considered myself noteworthy enough to give what I paint to someone. However, I am no longer able to afford wedding gifts/birthday gifts for people, so I decided to get creative. I stumbled upon gold-leaf and cheap canvas, so I spent my Sunday afternoon painting. I tried to do some pears first, but then decided I wanted their to be some meaning and purpose to the art I was creating. After MANY mess ups, after a spilled half a tube of paint on my dress, and after I let out a few frustrated screams, I decided painting was fun. I hope these will make acceptable gifts :)
