I am heading on Western Tour (our bus tour to California and back) on Thursday for three weeks. After that, I am heading to Southwind in Florida with the Wyldlife middle school students. And after that, I am heading to Windy Gap in North Carolina for my assignment (I am a work crew boss in the dinning hall). I am so excited about the trips and I love the students I am getting to spend time with. I couldn't be more excited.
Be praying for our safety and for the Lord to work in the lives of the students we have with us. I know the Lord is going to change the hearts of the kids, and I am praying He radically changes mine, too.
I am nervous (I guess that is what I would call the butterflies in my stomach) about being gone from Atlanta and my community for such a long time. I love my life here, and I hate to have to pick up and leave for the next 2 months. I love my roommates, and I hate to be missing out on all of the summer fun in ATL. I know the Lord has called me to do great things this summer, but I LOVE all the I am leaving behind.
