My heart feels so full. Reasons why this weekend has been amazing:
1) My roommates made me feel so special last night. They cooked an amazing meal all afternoon and wouldn't let me help with any of it. The only thing they let me help with was cleaning the bathrooms... go figure :)
2) My apartment was filled with 30 of my favorite people. I loved having people over... From Young Lifers to college friends to high school friends to old roommates, it was such a fun dinner. Leigh even left her newborn baby to come!
3) I watched Sara, Jess, Meg, Shan, and Ash go through the Haunted House last night. Others came too, but these 5 were out of control. I can't stop thinking about them running through the parking lot trying to get away from the monsters that were chasing them. It was hilarious, and I haven't laughed that hard in awhile. I was brave compared to them :)
4) I attended a great church on Sunday, and I met so many awesome people. A group of girls even invited me to breakfast and lunch with them. It was an answer to prayer.
5) I am currently substitute teaching a Drama class for Whitefield. It has been fun to be at the school on my actual birthday.
6) A Young Life mom has given me several concert tickets for "In the Heights" for Thursday night at the Fox Theater.
7) I went to a Halloween Party on Saturday night and had a blast. I was dressed as the "Swine Flu," armed with caution tape, a pig nose, and hand sanitizer. I typically don't feel super comfortable meeting new people, but I had a great time.
8) Auburn KILLED Ole Miss... so fun to watch.
9) I'm going with a big group tonight to feed the homeless. I'm really excited.
10) I walked into the office to see a balloon, 12 cupcakes, and cards. I have loved all of the emails, phone calls, and texts I have gotten all weekend.
11) Halloween (my favorite holiday) and my birthday in one weekend.
... it just doesn't get any better than this.
