katy

I'm in Highlands, North Carolina for Thanksgiving, and I went on a hike today with Katy Crane (above is a picture us at football game my senior year at Auburn). Katy has been doing oversees mission work for the past year, and I loved being able to catch up with her. The Lord is moving in both our hearts in a similar way, and I just felt so encouraged being able to be with her. If you want to be challenged, read her blog: http://kwcrane.blogspot.com/.

Here is a thought she challenged me with today:
I told her I didn't think I was called to oversees missions. I told her confidently I was called to be in America and do ministry here. And Katy wisely said in response to me, "That's not truth. The Lord has called each and everyone of us SEVERAL times in the scriptures (Matt 28:16-20, Mark 16:15, etc.), and He has called all of us to the world." She spoke truth to me today.

We are called. To the world. What does that mean? Do I pray? Do I send money? Do I go? What does that require from me? What am I going to do about it?
