No matter where you live and what your day looks like, you have the choice each day to depend on yourself, to live safely, and to try to control your life. Or you can live as you were created to live- as a temple of the Holy Spirit, as a person dependent on Him, desperate for the Spirit to show up and make a difference. When you begin to live a life characterized by walking with the Spirit, that is when people will begin to look not to you but to our Father in heaven and give Him the praise.

I want the latter.

SharpTop is this weekend. Randy asked us this past Spring to pick a number for our school and pray that the Lord bring that many kids to STC this fall. I prayed for 40... I thought that was an impossible number, since it was doubling the kids we took last year. I checked the list this morning and including the leaders, we have 39. The Lord has been faithful. Please be in prayer for our Whitefield kids, pray the Lord touch their hearts and move in their lives. It is going to be a fun weekend and hopefully one they will never forget.
