gospel of GRACE

I read this passage this morning from Acts 20. Paul is telling the elders in Ephesus goodbye for the last time:

"... the Holy Spirit warns me that prison and hardships are facing me. However, I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I way finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me- the task of testifying to the gospel of God's grace."

Paul's life was to testify to the gospel of grace. And I pray for that same thing this morning. The gospel of grace in my life. Not self-righteousness. Not judgment. Not legalism. Not doing the "right" thing. But the gospel of grace. May my lips be fast to speak grace. And may my heart be at rest with the grace He has extended me.
