perfect timing

As I sat in Church last night in Mobile, the Lord spoke to my heart. Tears came to my eyes when I heard Him speak, saying, "Turner, little one, my timing is perfect." I had forgotten that characteristic of God... That all things happen by God at the right time. It is not that He has forgotten about me or placed me on hold. He has a plan and has perfect timing. He is not indifferent or slow to speak.

I bet the people in Israel 2o1o years ago thought that, too. They hadn't heard from God in 400 years! Not a peep. No voice. No burning bush. No prophets. The Messiah was nowhere to be found. I bet they thought He has forgotten them and His promises. Isaiah had predicted this King coming, but where was He? At the right time, He sent His son to the world. In a manger. I bet they weren't expecting a baby by a lowly Jewish girl either. Jesus was exactly who Isaiah said He was though. The world was in need of a Savior and the Lord's plan, which was made before the foundation of the world, came at the most perfect time. The stars aligned at the perfect time. He came at the perfect time. He was perfect. And He came at the perfect time last night and spoke to my heart.
